Chapter - 9 Urban Livelihoods

  • India can easily boast of as many as five thousand towns and nearly twenty-seven big cities.
  • These huge urban cities are otherwise called city or just as metros. They have a populace of more than a million people each.
  • The huge urban areas are Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata. In these urban communities, more than a million people live and work.

Occupations- There are three sorts of occupation: primary, secondary and tertiary. Types of Livelihoods:
